Angela Maiola
Angela is a Registered Therapeutic Reflexologist and Clinical Massage Therapist . She graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 1998, and with more than 20 years experience, she has dedicated her career to the wellness and wellbeing of her patients. Treating her patients holistically is the foundation of her practice. She is qualified to assist with nutritional advice, strength training, rehab and prehab work. She has, and continues to work with professional athletes and strives to provide practical treatment protocols at all times. She is a firm believer in a multi-disciplinary approach to healing and often works with other practitioners within the greater medical fraternity to ensure the best outcome for her patients.
Further to her training, she studied in the UK to qualify as a Hydrotherm Massage Therapist broadening her scope of practice with pregnant women, which then lead her to train as a doula. “I believe it is every woman’s right to know and understand what her body is capable of. She also has the right to informed decision-making and emotional guidance and support throughout her pregnancy as well as during the birth of her child. As a doula it is an honour and a privilege to welcome new-borns to calm and confident parents”
